Description
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) is a premier
B-school established in 1961. The IIMA Society, created under the
Societies Act, is responsible for managing the college. IIM Ahmedabad is
ranked 1st in the NIRF Ranking 2023 in the management category. Since
2020, the institute has remained in the top position in the NIRF
Management Ranking. Further, the college has secured 46th rank globally
among the top management colleges in QS Ranking 2022. In the year 2017,
IIMA was recognised as the ‘Institute of National Importance’ by the
Government of India.
